In March 2001, I bought my first 323GT-R, a 1993 model in Black. The car was completely standard when I bought it, except for the Team Dynamics alloy wheels. At first, it felt slower than my modified GT-X, however I knew the potential was there to make it much quicker. A home made induction kit and exhaust, plus a swap to a much larger intercooler from a Mitsubishi Evo 6 soon made the car feel much more like it should...
Unfortunately, a short time later the car was stolen, just as I was starting to learn what mods worked and where to focus on. I'd only had the car a short time, but the bug had well and truly bitten, and I knew I needed another one.
